The Toric Capitole Wave and its sector time display is a modern marvel inspired by a 19th century mechanical masterpiece.
Brilliantly emphasised by the immaculate diamond arrangement on the bezel, the inlayed onyx stones constitute a captivating decoration in form of waves in this timepiece creation.
The Toric Capitole Wave Parmigiani Fleurier features a minute repeater with cathedral chimes, plus an additional module dedicated to the sector time display. The time is displayed in the half-moon aperture using Arabic numerals, whose progress can be tracked from the first to sixtieth minute, before the next hour appears. The module incorporates a rotary system comprising three planetary gears with four arms, each end of which bears a number.
The bezel of the Toric Capitole Wave is hand engraved with geometric patterns in the form of a wave, giving the piece its name. The passing hour part of the dial is in Tahitian mother of pearl, a natural precious stone prized for its unique reflections, which are impossible to reproduce. Collaboration with Etienne Ruffieux
